About Niamh

Niamh is the Director of Healthy Communities and Special projects at Environmental Advocates, New York, where she focuses on legislative campaigns that focus on the intersection of environment and health, and particularly how environmental justice communities are disproportionately impacted by climate change. In her previous role as Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Anna Kelles, she supported staff in advancing legislative bills primarily focused on environmental protection, criminal justice and healthcare.

Niamh's background includes consulting roles with both the US and New Zealand governments, where she led projects focused on equitable access to electric vehicle charging infrastructure and increasing diversity in leadership positions. Niamh holds a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University, where she was an economic scholar and majored in Government and Politics.
