About Minnie
Minnie Sun is a Business Development Manager at Kommissary, a food and logistics startup, where she drives growth by leveraging her skills in strategic partnerships, UX design, and proposal writing. Prior to her current role, Minnie led RFP response strategy at Via Transportation for their TaaS and SaaS products, focusing on project management and technical writing. She is also the co-founder of Taiwan Mixed, a digital platform aggregating Taiwan and APAC-related journalism, where she directs outreach and content strategy. Her professional journey has also included internship roles at Ogilvy and Verite Consulting in Taiwan.
With a BBA in International Business and Sociocultural Anthropology from George Washington University, Minnie brings a unique blend of business acumen and cultural understanding to her work. She is currently founding her own ceramics business, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit in creative pursuits. She has also volunteered as a Resume Coach for the Posse Foundation and a tutor for incarcerated students through the Petey Greene Program.
